About the Role

Based in our Adelaide Head Office, Reporting to the General Manager- Digital Strategy & Service the Systems Analyst Programmer will work in a small team of technologists. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and support of IT solutions that meet Customers’ business requirements and comply with Corporate and Divisional Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.

Core Responsibilities


  • Support, analyse, and fix systems and data problems
  • System Administration of various applications in use across the business
  • Design, develop, enhance and implement applications in line with Corporate and Divisional requirements
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of methodologies, standards, and procedures


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Degree in an appropriate Information Services discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong systems troubleshooting & problem solving ability and experience in systems administration
  • Experience in software engineering patterns, techniques, and methods
  • Application programming knowledge in suites such as Java, Python, Microsoft.NET, Excel/VBA and Shell Scripts
  • SQL query writing & database experience
  • Experience in using Change Management tools, version control & deployment procedures
  • Knowledge of Incident Management, and Helpdesk systems
  • SAP Systems experience will be highly regarded
